I recently started some cool weather seeds indoors; broccoli, two type of lettuce (bibb and mesclun), mustard and pansy flowers. They were doing really well, this week the pansies finally sprouted so everything was up! Hurray!
And then….
Evan happened. I caught him “in the act” so my darling little mischevious two year old son only had time to mess up HALF the seedlings rather than destroying all of them but still…the damage was done.
Today I fianlly got a chance to replant the broccoli (all of which were destroyed utterly) and the mesclun and the half of the bibb lettuce that didn’t make it. 
And I moved it all out to a more open location next to the computer and up a bit higher so hopefully we won’t have a repeat disaster.
I’ll keep you all posted – and put up pictures of my make-shift, homemade seed starting situation.
